Days and seasons

Zones 1–5 do not run on Wednesdays. Zones 6–10 do not run on Tuesdays. A Tuesday or Wednesday date has roughly half the seats.
Zones 1–5 are closed from 1 July to 30 September. Zones 6–10 run all year.
Two shifts a day, morning and afternoon, about 3 to 3.5 hours each; exact gate times move with the season.
Portal hours: 1:30 am to 11:30 pm IST, with short sales pauses before each release.

What time do Ranthambore safari bookings open?

Advance seats open at 12 noon IST on 1 August for October–December, 1 November for January–March and 1 February for April–June. Current seats open daily at 10:00 am, tatkal at 11:00 am for the date seven days ahead, and premium tatkal at 10:00 am and 6:00 pm for the date three days ahead.

Which days are Ranthambore zones closed?

Zones 1 to 5 do not run on Wednesdays and zones 6 to 10 do not run on Tuesdays. Zones 1 to 5 are closed for the monsoon from July to September; zones 6 to 10 run all year.

What are the official Ranthambore booking portal hours?

The Rajasthan Forest Department portal is open from 1:30 am to 11:30 pm IST and pauses sales for a few minutes before each release, around 9:55, 10:55, 11:55 and 5:55.
