Ten suites among red-ochre walls and young trees. Your own butler, a fire under the stars, and the tiger's forest about twenty minutes away.
Low, flat-roofed blocks in red-ochre lime plaster and natural stone, on four acres of village farmland. Trees were planted first and the lodge was built around them. The rain is harvested, and a small stream runs through the grounds. Inside it's classic safari style: campaign chairs, leather sofas, old trunks and tall windows onto green.
Eight of the ten suites. Each one is laid out a little differently, but all have a super-king bed, a separate lounge, a big bathroom and at least one private balcony over the trees. Some have twin beds, and some connect, which suits families.
