The Earth Ranthambore · Near the helipad, Ranthambore Road · ★★★★ Luxury
Hand-built mud cottages under thatch, a garden of young trees, and the tiger's forest a short drive away.
The cottages are built the old way, with mud from the land around them mixed with wheat husk and lime. Local craftspeople built them, keeping an old skill alive. Thick walls keep rooms cool in the afternoon heat. Around them, some 700 trees and an orchard have been planted, with lawns, flower beds and lantern-lit paths.

A mud cottage made for two, with your own indoor pool a few steps from the bed. Coloured glass set into the walls throws patches of light across the water by day and glows warm at night.
